Blue Nest Spruce
The Blue Nest Spruce, Picea mariana ‘Nana is a slow growing, dwarf, globe-shaped evergreen with blue-green foliage and a dense compact habit. It is an excellent specimen for the landscape or rock garden, so Blue Nest would be a standout your rock garden. This dwarf plant displays an attractive broad dense globe of blue-gray needles and requires practically no maintenance. It is also great in shrub borders. The Blue Nest Spruce prefers a sunny location and a well-drained soil, but can tolerate poor soil. This is an excellent plant for adding structure, color and texture to your yard or garden. It attracts wildlife and is deer resistant.

Hollyhock – Nigra
The Nigra Hollyhock, ‘Alcea rosea has large single, very dark maroon to almost black flowers. (The darkest flower in this family). The Hollyhock family is made up of a rather large group that exhibits tall stature (4-6 and is biennial in nature. Although they are short lived, they reseed themselves. The large blooms of ‘Chater’s Nigra Hollyhock’ flower in the summer months. Alcea is a wonderful plant near the back of the border, working great along walls or fences. They are best planted in full sun in a well-drained area.

Both materials are about half the weight of cement and can be outdoors year round. By mastering the art of casting our home decor and outdoor garden statues, decoration, gargoyles, dragons, angels, cherubs, cupid, fairy, dedo, busts, planters, urns, pots, garden benches, pedestals, columns, garden ornaments, fountains, wall decor, vases, holiday, religious and animal statues in fiberglass or fiberstone resin we manage to retain all the detail or the original with the added benefits of less weight, greater strength, and a product suitable for indoor and outdoor garden decor use. Fiberstone is a mixture of sand and stones cast into the surface using terrazzo-like techniques. The surface is then sandblasted and chemically treated, followed by an acid stain to give the appearance of aged stone. Since it is reinforced with a fiberglass backing, it remains light-weight and less fragile than concrete. When ordering, please pick a material then a finish. Snowberry – Red
Red Snowberry, symphoricarpos orbiculatus, has light yellow flushed rose flowers that bloom in late June along branches of blue-green foliage. It then produces clusters of small and persistent purple-red berries that makes a great food for the birds. Red Snowberry is an excellent plant for erosion control and can be planted in shade or sun. It grows 3-5 feet tall and 4-8 feet wide and should be pruned in early spring so current season’s growth can produce flowers and fruit. Red Snowberry sends runners along the ground and is smaller and more arching in habit than the White Snowberry, which is more upright. It thrives in average, well drained soil, is shade tolerant, attracts birds, and is deer resistant. The berries are great for cutting and arrangements.
