The Iris ‘Bronze Beauty ‘Iris hollandica a fall planted bulb, produces flowers in such an amazing color combination that it will evoke the admiration of all your gardening friends. Dutch Iris thrives best in moist, well-draining soil. The Iris blooms in late spring to early summer for a 2 – 3 week period. Calibrachoa – Superbells Pink Kiss
The Calibrachoa Superbells Pink Kiss, ‘Calibrachoa hybrids is a fantastic annual hybrid from Proven Winners. Calibrachoa is very similar to a minature Petunia. This vigorous fast growing plant produces hundreds of vividly colored pink flowers that bloom from spring until first frost. Calibrachoa Superbells are easy to grow. Place them in full sun, shade will severely limit the number of flowers. Superbells can be grown in patio pots, window boxes and in beds. Calibrachoa are popular for hanging baskets because of their cascading habit. Superbells are self cleaning, you do not have to pinch off spent flowers. Superbells Calibrachoa is more heat resistant than most of the Calibrachoas. It can take the heat of hot southern summers making it a good replacement for petunias, and they can be perennial in zones 7 and warmer. You can expect hummingbirds to visit your garden when you plant Calibrachoa because they love the large trumpet shaped flowers and its good nectar source. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial.

Grape Hyacinth – Tassel
The Grape Hyacinth ‘Tassel ‘Armeniacum comosum is a fall planted bulb. The Tassel grape hyacinth is the strangest looking Grape Hyacinth. Its flower stalk is up to 2 ft. tall with pale brown urn-shaped fertile flowers on the lower half, and blue flowers on the upper half. The cluster of flowers atop the stalk looks like a tassel. The flowers remain beautiful for a long time, and they are very attractive to bees. Grape Hyacinths are a hardy, no-care, mid spring flowering bulb. They are excellent as cut flowers, for rock gardens, beds, borders, and under trees and bushes. Muscari often multiply and spread over the years. Try planting a large drift of Muscari armeniacum in your garden for a flowing effect.
