Coneflower – Sunrise
The Coneflower Sunrise, ‘Echinacea purpurea is an easy to grow flower that produces beautiful citron yellow daisy-like flowers. The center of this coneflower starts out green and turns gold. Blooming from July to October and a major attractor to butterflies and bees and deer resistant, it is a must for any perennial gardens. With its dark green foliage, Echinacea Sunrise stands 30-35 high with a plant spread of 18. For best results, plant in full sun in a well drained area. Echinacea is known for its large flower heads that turn to seed in the fall. A great choice for cut flowers, adding a wilderness look to your garden, combining great with Leucanthemum Becky Daisy or in cottage gardens, it is a definite must. Royal Frost Birch
The Royal Frost Birch, Betula x ‘Royal Frost is a newer selection of Birch with burgundy-red summer foliage that contrasts beautifully with the crisp white bark. The beautiful glossy deep burgundy red leaf color, and cinnamon to white exfoliating bark, puts this birch tree in a class of it’s own. The beautiful leaf color holds very well throughout the summer. Fall is a festival of colors ranging from bright red, orange, yellow and purple. Truly a spectacular tree for all seasons. This birch has a gracefully upright, yet somewhat pendulous habit. Star Flower – Starlight
The Star Flower Starlight, ‘Triteleia Ixioides Starlight produces a beautiful yellow cluster of flowers on top of a long sturdy green stem. These plants are native to the west coast of the US. The Star Flower is perfect as a cut flowers. It’s best to plant this hardy perennial in full sun or partial shade in a well drained area.
