Iris – Sky Wings
The Iris ‘Sky Wings ‘Iris hollandica a fall planted bulb, is a bright and airy Dutch iris that resembles a bird in flight. Its unmatched presence is an elegant addition to any garden. The exquisite sky blue flowers rest atop sturdy stems. The sword-like leaves add oft-lacking vertical lines to the garden. Despite their name, these irises never grew wild in the Netherlands. Instead, they are the products of hybridization by a Dutch plant breeding firm. The Iris blooms in late spring to early summer for a 2 – 3 week period. Plant Dutch Iris bulbs in 10 to 14 day intervals to enjoy a continuous supply of cut flowers. For a more striking effect, plant the bulbs in groups of 20 or more. In cold areas the Iris should be mulched in winter to protect from frost. The Iris plant is great for borders, containers, naturalizing, and cut flowers. They are deer, rabbit and squirrel resistant.

The Rose Don Juan, displays full, cupped, dark red blooms that are carried above dark green leaves. The large double blooms of this climber appear throughout the summer and fall. Don Juan is a good choice for placement by walls, pillars, and trellis The blooms have an intense fragrance. This plant should be placed in full sun and will attain a mature height of 12 to 14 feet.

Canna – Futurity Red
The Canna Futurity Red, ‘Canna also known as a novelty Canna or Bengal Tiger, has large bright crimson red flowers and orange centers with deep green foliage. Fututiry Red is a prolific grower and short in size. It has a plant height of 3-4 and a plant spread of 24-36. It will bloom from July to October. Futurity Red should be planted in full sun and in a well drained area. Cannas are an excellent choice for patio plants and they add color, height, and texture to any perennial border.
