The Geranium Stardom Maureen, ‘Pelargonium x hybrids exhibits beautiful orange bi-colored flowers. Stardom geraniums, also known as floribundas, have double flowers which emerge early, and they produce many more flowers than zonal geraniums on spreading branches. Stardom geraniums are self-branching, requiring no pinching or growth regulators. One of the best kept secrets about Stardom geraniums is their garden performance as a groundcover in the landscape setting. Geraniums are one of your best choices for use in hanging baskets. Flavor King

The Flavor King Pluot (interspecific), ‘Prunus pluot is a taste test winner. It is a unique plum-apricot hybrid. The remarkable, spicy bouquet and flavor explode the taste buds. The fruit has a reddish-purple skin and sweet red flesh. Teh Flavor King is a naturally small tree. I can be pollenized by Flavor Supreme, Santa Rosa or Late Santa Rosa. The complex, intense flavor of Pluot is unique to interspecifics, much like a blend of fruit juices where the mixture is an improvement over any of the separate ingredients. Additionally, the sugar content of the interspecifics is much higher than in any standard plum or apricot–yielding fruit of incomparable sweetness.

Coleus – Splash

The Coleus Splash, ‘Coleus hybrid has bright green to light chartreuse foliage that is liberally splashed and splattered with rich purple. These new, bigger, sun loving varieties have revolutionized contanier gardening. The brilliant colors explode in sunny locations. Coleus plants are durable and easy to grow. The coleus plants are a tender perennials. Frost will cause them to die immediately. Coleus plants are so colorful that many people keep them and use them as a house plant. These plants will do best in temperatures above 55 degrees. Flower buds should be pinched off as soon as they develop. If a coleus plant is allowed to seed, it has completed its life cycle and will die. Coleus must have good soil drainage. Poorly drained soils and excessive watering will damage coleus. Plants suffering from “wet feet” will be stunted, leaves will turn a muddy brown, and leaf margins will be scorched. For zones 10-11, this plant can also be a perennial.
